26 Sep. Hospital in Sana’a launches free medical week

September 26 Hospital Authority in Bani Matar dstrict of Sana'a province launched on Saturday a free medical week to treat patients with low incomes.

The week, which is being held at the Imam Al-Mutaqin Health Center, aims to provide inspection services for sick cases in the village of al-Harf area to alleviate the suffering of citizens in light of the difficult economic conditions.

Chairman of the hospital authority Mohammed al-Ajli explained that the work of the free week lasts five days and includes inspection services, reproductive health, radiology, laboratories, nutrition, charitable pharmacy and various health services for women and children.

He indicated that this week comes within the framework of the Authority's activities to help poor cases and alleviate the suffering of patients, especially those who are unable to bear the costs of treatment.
