RAMALLAH, A third convoy loaded with humanitarian aid entered the Gaza Strip Monday through Egypt's Rafah border crossing.

Speaking to KUNA in a statement, head of Rafah border media office Wael Abu Omar said the convoy included 20 trucks loaded with medicines, and medical and food supplies, adding that 55 trucks have entered the Strip since Saturday.

He indicated that medicines and medical supplies have been distributed to hospitals Meanwhile, Salama Marouf, head of media office in the Strip, reiterated the necessity of fuel access to the Strip to help hospitals continue offering services to patients, in light of the continued barbaric attacks of the Israeli occupation forces on the Gazans that left dozens of martyrs and hundreds of wounded.

The Gaza Strip has been suffering a severe shortage in food supplies, medicines, portable water and fuel for hospitals, which jeopardize the lives of patients. (end) wab.hm
