3rd relief convoy from Yemeni community in Syria for affected people by earthquake in Hama

The Yemeni community in the Syrian Arab Republic sent the third relief aid convoy to affected people by the earthquake in the Syrian governorate of Hama.

The relief convoy contains six trucks, loaded with various items of aid for those affected by the devastating earthquake that struck Syria recently.

During the conduct of the convoy, the Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Syria, Abdullah Ali Sabri, explained that the convoy comes within the framework of solidarity with the brotherly Syrian people and embodies the cohesion between the governments of the two countries and the contribution of the Yemeni community to breaking the US blockade and sanctions.

In turn, the Governor of Aleppo, Dr. Mahmoud Zanboua, appreciated the initiative of the Yemeni embassy and the Yemeni community in Syria to provide a convoy of relief aid.

"The targeting of Yemen and Syria is a result of Sana'a and Damascus' adherence to the constants related to supporting the Palestinian cause and the just causes of the nation," he said, stressing that victory is the inevitable result of the steadfastness of the Syrian and Yemeni peoples in the face of aggression and siege.
