The governor of Abyan, Saleh Al-Junaidi, described the recent visit of the US military delegation to Al-Mahra province as a hostile and provocative act for all the Yemeni people.

Al-Junaidi confirmed to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the practical response to the American violation of national sovereignty requires action at all official and popular levels to remove all foreign forces from the various Yemeni provinces and prevent any interference in the country's internal affairs.

He pointed out that this visit is the second by an American delegation in two years, which reveals the existence of an American plan to establish military bases on the coasts of the Arabian Sea.

Al-Junaidi held the occupation authorities in the southern provinces responsible for allowing foreign forces to violate the homeland's sovereignty.

He called on all the free people of the southern provinces to prepare for the battle of independence and national sovereignty to stop such blatant violations.
