SANA’A, The General Organization for the Preservation of Historic Cities in Yemen (GOPHCY) and Hayel Saeed Anam Charity Foundation (HSACF) signed here on Sunday a cooperation agreement to restore historic buildings in the old city of Sana’a.
Upon the agreement, the HSACF restores 30 historic buildings that were affected by rain flooding in the old city and according to a timeframe operational mechanism.
The agreement is considered a pioneering contribution by the HSACF aiming at protecting the historic city of Sana’a as a global human heritage that must be preserved.
The agreement was signed by GOPHCY chairman Eng. Mujahed Tamesh and HSACF human development program director Mujib al-Fatesh.
