The Agricultural and Fisheries Information Center of the Supreme Agricultural and Fisheries Committee issued the Yemeni agricultural calendar for the current year in its modern version.

The center stated that the agricultural calendar is one of the agricultural extension activities, as it shows agricultural landmarks, the solar year houses, the Roman months - the Himyarite months, as well as the Gregorian and Hijri months.

It pointed to the importance of the calendar, which provides an introduction to the entrances to solar houses, agricultural landmarks, and agricultural operations in each month, especially corn, wheat, and grain crops.

The calendar provides many services to farmers, as they enable them to determine the appropriate dates for planting, plowing, irrigation, and the planting seeds dates, leading to harvesting and reaping the fruits.
