The media sector in Al-Bayda province condemned the arbitrary measures of the "YouTube" and "Facebook" administrations in closing and deleting channels and accounts affiliated with the national media.

A statement issued by the Information Office, Saba Agency, and official and private TV channels indicated that this targeting of free media platforms is a new attempt to obscure the facts about the killing, destruction, and siege that the Yemeni people have been subjected to for eight years.

The statement considered the closure of national anti-aggression channels a violation of international covenants and laws related to freedom of expression.. denouncing the silence of the international community regarding all the crimes committed by the countries of the aggression coalition in Yemen.

The media sector in Al-Bayda affirmed that it will continue to perform its duty to show the grievances of the Yemeni people, to confront rumors ,mislead the enemy's means and media
