Al-Dailami meets UN Resident Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs

The Acting Minister of Human Rights Ali Al-Dailami on Tuesday met in Sana'a with the United Nations Resident Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs David Grisley.

During the meeting, they discussed the humanitarian crisis the Yemeni people is suffering from under the continued aggression and siege.

Al-Dailami and Grisley reviewed several points relating to the joint cooperation in the humanitarian work that the United Nations is carrying out in the country.

"The aggression's violations are monitored by the UN agencies, but they do nothing to stop them, causing major failures in the humanitarian side," Al-Dailami said.

For his part, Grisley expressed his understanding of the humanitarian situation in Yemen, pointing out that it has become necessary to work in term of priority and focused on those who are directly affected by the aggression.
