Al-Mahrah Governor: Yemeni unity is glimmer of hope for gathering of nation’s diaspora

The governor of Al-Mahrah, Ali Al-Farji, considered the Yemeni unity the most important historical and strategic achievement for the Yemeni people, and an urgent necessity to confront the projects of division and fragmentation.

In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Governor Al-Farji said that the 33rd National Day of the Republic of Yemen, May 22, comes this year in light of the conspiracies the occupied provinces are witnessing targeting Yemen, its unity, security and sovereignty.

He pointed out that all the efforts of the occupiers to undermine Yemeni unity will fail, because unity has been entrenched in the minds and consciences of all Yemenis and has been baptized with a lot of blood and physical sacrifices.

Governor Al-Faraji indicated that unity is the title of the Yemeni people's steadfastness and cohesion in all the conspiracies' face of the skeptics and their attempts to undermine their gains, foremost of which is this historic achievement, which represented a glimmer of hope towards gathering the diaspora in which the nation lives.

He reaffirmed that Yemeni unity belongs to all Yemenis and will not be affected by a group of mercenaries who betrayed the homeland and harnessed themselves to serve the occupation and implement its agendas, pointing out that unity is linked to the will of the entire Yemeni people, who have proven to the world their ability to confront the fiercest aggression and thwart all its conspiracies.

Al-Mahrah governor warned the tools of aggression and occupation against persisting in targeting the Yemeni unity that the Yemeni people sacrificed and struggled to achieve, from Al-Mahra in the east to Al-Hodeida in the west, and from Aden in the south to Sa'ada in the north.
