Al-mahwit: In Al-Rajm District of Al-Mahwit Governorate, the survey and expansion works of the Al-Maqtu’ah – Bayt Al-Jahjahji – Bani Al-Badi road, spanning three kilometers, were launched on Thursday.

According to Yemen News Agency, the project is funded by the Emergency Central Interventions Unit and coordinated with the Executive Unit for Road Construction and Maintenance in the governorate. During the launch, Engineer Mokhtar Al-Turki, representative of the governorate’s Central Interventions Unit, emphasized the project’s importance in strengthening the rural road network and connecting villages and hamlets. He noted that it would help reduce citizens’ difficulties in transportation, facilitate the movement of agricultural products, and improve access to basic services in remote areas.

Meanwhile, local residents and members of cooperative associations in the area expressed their gratitude to the governorate leadership, the Central Interventions Unit, and the Road Maintenance Unit for supporting such vital service and development projects.
