ALGIERS-- Algeria's Trade Minister, Said Djellab, will attend the 6th African Union Ministers of Trade (AMOT) meeting to be held Dakar, Senegal, on Junday and Monday, the Trade Ministry says.

Id added in a statement here Thursday that 6th AMoT would discuss the report of the 6th Senior Trade Officials Meeting and the report of the 11th meeting of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Negotiating Forum.

The AMoT is part of the works of various AfCFTA-NF negotiating institutions.

The Ministerial Conference will be preceded by the 11th AfCFTA-NF held from Tuesday to Thursday and the 6th Senior Officials Meeting (SOM) on Friday and Saturday.

The establishment of the Continental Free Trade Area (CFTA) was discussed by the AU Leaders Summit held in March in Kigali (Rwanda).
