Alia Al-Amal Charity Association Partners with ‘Souq JO’ to Boost Small Projects

The Alia Al-Amal Charity Association and the "Souq JO" project signed a cooperation agreement Tuesday to support and enhance small projects, aiming to promote their growth and open new avenues for diversity and sustainability. The agreement was signed by the association's president, Lelas Dalgamouni, and the project's operations manager, Jihad Alfar. Dalgamouni said that this project is funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) as part of the Iqlaa program, which launched in May 2022 and will continue for five years. Additionally, she explained that the program aims to support home-based enterprises and small projects by improving access to financing, markets, and services. It focuses on four key sectors: agriculture, hospitality and tourism, manufacturing, and services, with a priority given to technology and its applications. She emphasized that the project takes into account the needs of gender, youth, and marginalized groups in all its activities, thereby enhancing opportunities for success and sustainability in the Jordanian business environment.
