Afar Customs Center of Bayda province on Tuesday seized a large amount of prohibited agricultural pesticides and smuggled medicines.

The Customs Authority confirmed that the Afar Center in Al-Sawadiya area seized 593 packets of prohibited pesticides and smuggled medicines, which were hidden in transport vehicles.

The authority commended the efforts and vigilance of customs officers in all customs offices and centers.
