Chiefs of Arab parliaments and legislative assemblies, condoled on Saturday, the State of Kuwait's efforts for resolving the Yemeni crisis and achieving pan-Arab economic integration.
A document, released at the end of the second conference of the Arab Parliament, and chairmen of Arab parliaments and legislative councils, praised the initiative by the Amir, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, setting up a special fund for small and medium enterprises.
The Kuwaiti Amir declared, in 2014, a USD one billion fund, for financing small and medium projects and crafts, affirming the approach to encourage Arab youth launch businesses.
Moreover, the document affirmed necessity to restructure Arab states' economies, with emphasis on small and medium enterprises, in addition to mapping out strategies for micro, small and medium crafts.
Furthermore, it lauded Kuwait for hosting conciliation talks among the Yemenis, renewed support for legitimate leadership of President Abed Rabbu Mansour Hadi, the agreed-upon references, namely the GCC initiative, outcome of the national dialogue and Security Council resolution 2216, for resolving the crisis in Yemen.
Kuwait hosted UN-sponsored, marathon reconciliation talks, among the Yemeni parties last summer.
