JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia, The Arab coalition air and logistical support for the Yemeni national army, and the popular resistance, has paved the way for the legitimate forces, to make major advance at various axes on the Yemeni arena, the alliance spokesman said, on Wednesday.
Colonel Turki Al-Malki, speaking at a news conference, said, the legitimate forces have knocked out a large number of military vehicles and arms depots, belonging to the Houthi militias.
Moreover, they have seized weapons provided by Iran to the Houthis.
Coalition air units attacked with gunship Apache helicopters, knocking out a Sam-7 missile, military hardware, arms depots and targeting groups of the militiamen.
Ballistic missiles' depots and militia positions close to the border with the kingdom, have been bombed, Col. Al-Malki, said.
Meanwhile, the coalition forces have delivered airborne aid to the people, in various parts of Yemen, and leaflets have been distributed, to guide Yemenis reach safe areas.
