The armed forces have inflicted heavy losses on the UAE mercenaries and ISIS in Shabwa province during the past few days, the army's spokesman said Wednesday.
The armed forces stated in a statement read by spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, that the number of dead among the UAE mercenaries and ISIS reached more than 515, including leaders, more than 850 wounded, and more than 200 missings, according to intelligence sources.
Sarie pointed out that the mercenaries also lost more than 102 armored vehicles, in addition to the destruction of several large and advanced cannons.
According to the statement, dozens of missile strikes hit the mercenaries' gatherings and left dozens of them dead or wounded.
The armed forces affirmed their full readiness to defend the country and the people and confront the escalation of the Emirati enemy until the clear victory is achieved, noting that the consequences of the Emirati escalation will be great and the enemy must bear the consequences of that escalation.
