Army drones hit Saudi southern regions again

SANA’A, The army’s drones carried out on Monday an attack against Abha International Airport, the armed forces spokesman said.

Brigadier General Yahya Sarei said that a Qasef 2k drone hit accurately an important military facility inside the airport.

For the third straight day, the army continues to launch drone attacks on strategic targets on the Saudi southern regions.

Last Sunday, two drones of “Qasef 2k” type, hit the King Khalid airbase in Khamis Mushait province, while three drones of the same type struck Saudi Jizan and Abha airports and Khamis Mushait military base last Saturday.

The drone attacks on Saudi Arabia’s southern regions are in retaliation to the Saudi-led coalition’s attacks in Yemen, Sarei said.
