The air defenses of the army and popular committees have shot down a Chinese-made CH4 spy plane of the Saudi-Air Force in Marib province, armed forces spokesman Brig. General Yahya Sarei said.

Sarei added the spy plane was shot down while it was carrying out hostile acts in the airspace of al-Wadi area of Marib with an unannounced surface-to-air missile.
