SANAA, Spokesman for the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, on Wednesday said that the ongoing violation by the aggression coalition in Hodeidah are part of their attempts to evade their responsibilities and obligations stipulated in the Swedish agreement and the UN Security Council resolution to continue to commit more crimes against the Yemeni people.
Sarie said in a statement to the Saba news agency that during the past 48 hours, the coalition's air force and the mercenaries continued their violations and targeted civilians and army positions with more than 304 new violations of the cease-fire in Hodeidah.
He pointed out that the warplanes of coalition continued to target civilians and public and private property in a number of provinces with 38 raids.
He pointed out that the army fighters and the Popular forces repulsed the mercenaries infiltration toward the positions of armed forces in Selw, Taiz province, and the area of Al-Ajashr off Najran.
They foiled another infiltration of mercenaries aggression towards the positions of the army and the popular forces east of Jahfan Mountain off Jizan, he said.
Brigadier Sarie said that the army and the popular forces responded to the escalation of the aggression and their mercenaries by carrying out eight military operations, four of which targeted the positions and gatherings of the mercenary in Razih, al-Baqqa, Jabal Qays, Jabal Qais, east of Jabal al-Dawud, Mash'al area off Jizan, and the Al-Ajashar desert off Najran.
He said that the missile force fired a ballistic missile of type Badr P-1 on the enemy 's gatherings and concentrations in the desert of Midi.
The spokesman for the armed forces killed said that the army killed dozens of enemy forces during a lure to a minefield off Jabal Qais in Jizan.
Two mercenaries were killed off Aleeb and two Saudi soldiers in the area of Farda and Meshaal off Jizan, he said.
He pointed out the destruction and looting of 18 different military vehicles for mercenaries.
