HODEIDAH, The Public Prosecution in Hodeidah province released Wednesday 84 prisoners sentenced to deprivation of liberty and have spent three quarters of their punishment term.

In the course of the release, the Acting Governor of Hodeidah, Mohammad Ayyash Quheem paid tribute to the efforts of the judicial authorities to release prisoners who had spent three-quarters of their punishment period before the holy month of Ramadan.

The head of the appeal prosecution for the province of Hodeidah Judge Hadi Ayda that the process of release came on the basis of circulation issued by the general prosecutor to release those sentenced to penalties of deprivation of liberty, in case they had spent three quarters of their punishment term.

He pointed to the continued efforts of the leadership of the province with businessmen through the Chamber of Commerce to release a number of prisoners who are insolvent.
