Sana'a: The General Directorate for Women and Children at the Ministry of Information organized an awareness workshop today in Sana'a for female journalists working for the ministry's affiliated agencies, commemorating the Martyr's Anniversary of 1447 AH. During the workshop, Deputy Minister of Information Dr. Omar al-Bukhaiti emphasized that the legendary steadfastness of the Yemeni people in the face of the American, Zionist, Saudi, and Emirati aggression is a result of the martyrs' sacrifices for the sake of God and in defense of the nation's dignity, honor, and independence.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Al-Bukhaiti explained that martyrdom in the cause of God is among the highest levels of faith and the noblest forms of sacrifice and giving, as it is proof of sincerity and devotion. Through it, the banner of religion is raised high and the dignity of the nation is preserved. He clarified that God Almighty has honored martyrs greatly, granting them life with Him and a generous provision, as He, the Exalted, said: "And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of God as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision."
The Deputy Minister of Information pointed out that one way to honor these heroes is to care for their families, who offered their most precious possessions as a sacrifice for religion and country. He also noted the role of the martyred Minister of Information, Hashim Sharaf al-Din, and his tireless work to develop media performance and strengthen the role of national media outlets in confronting enemy media.
He reaffirmed Yemen's unwavering support for the causes of the Arab nation, foremost among them the Palestinian cause, noting that Yemen has stood as a bulwark against the Zionist entity's supply of its needs by sea and has imposed a naval blockade on shipping to occupied Palestinian ports, while some countries considered Arab and Muslim have opened land routes with the Zionist entity.
Dr. Al-Bukhaiti commended the role of female journalists and their steadfastness in fulfilling their mission for over ten years, exposing the crimes of the American, Saudi, and Emirati aggression, and during the direct confrontation with the American and Israeli enemy.

He explained that the martyr who gives his life seeking God's pleasure strives to establish equity and repel oppression and falsehood from the vulnerable.
Dr. Al-Shami pointed out that were it not for the blood and sacrifices of the martyrs, the path to truth would not be known, nor would the nation enjoy a dignified life. He explained that martyrdom is the shield that protects values and the sword that cuts down tyranny. With the blood of martyrs, the tree of freedom is nourished, and the edifice of justice is erected upon a foundation of faith, sacrifice, and the certainty that God does not waste the reward of those who do good.
