GCC Secretary-General Jasem Al-Budaiwi affirmed the Council's keenness on Sudan's security, safety and stability and supporting it in facing all challenges to achieve the aspirations of its people.

KHARTOUM -- Sudan's Army and Rapid Support Forces (RSF) agreed to extend a ceasefire truce by 72 hours as of this evening, in response to some local and international calls.
