The Council of Ministers, in its periodic meeting Wednesday headed by Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, approved the final accounts of the state's general budgets for 2017 and the relevant draft laws submitted by the Finance Ministry.
The Council referred the draft laws to the Parliament for further discussions and to complete the necessary constitutional procedures for approval.
In its meeting, the Council of Ministers approved the draft national strategy for the development of the poultry sector 2021-2025, submitted by Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation Abdulmalik Al-Thawr.
It also approved the draft of updating the national strategy for people with disabilities, submitted by Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Obaid bin Dhabea.
