The Cabinet discussed in its regular meeting Monday under the chairmanship of the President of the Council Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor the topics on its agenda and developments in the national scene, especially in the political and military arena.
The meeting dealt with the comments made by the members of the National Salvation Government on the draft of national vision for the further development of the structure of the modern state of Yemen, submitted by the four main committees of the Council.
In light of this, the Council instructed the decision makers of the four committees to formulate the notes in full in order to submit them to the Supreme Political Council.
The Council listened to a report submitted by the Deputy Prime Minister for Security and Defense Affairs Major General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan on the latest political and military developments on the fronts of confronting the Saudi-UAE aggression during the past week.
The report explained the aspects related to the performance of the UN team during the last period and the accompanying misunderstanding of the provisions of the Stockholm Agreement on Hodeidah and its ports, in contrast the continuation of the other party violations and the attempt of the aggressor countries to impose their will on the Yemeni people.
This report confirmed that the army and the popular committees are aware of the reality of the schemes of forces of the US-backed saudi-led aggression coalition and their mercenaries targeting the Homeland.
The report referred to the results of the visit of the former UN envoy Martin Griffith, which came after the Alliance of Aggression sought to thwart Sweden's agreement on Hodeidah. He said that a meeting on this matter was supposed to be held recently in Amman but the non-response of the other party contributed to the obstruction of that.
General Al-Ruwaishan reassured everyone that the military situation is in full control by the army, the popular committees and volunteers from the tribesmen who face the forces of US-backed occupation coalition, despite the moments of coalition with armored vehicles and pedestrians that reach the Mukha and other fronts.
He explained that the state of steadfastness, arrogance and high morale is predominant among the heroes of the army and the popular committees as they face the aggressors' aggressors and carry out sudden offensive operations on the invading forces, inflicting on the enemy heavy losses in lives and equipment.
The cabinet praised the heroic performance of the army, supported by the popular forces, and all the volunteers on the fronts, who face the coalition's schemes seeking to undermine Yemen and its sovereignty and independence.
The Cabinet stressed that the Yemeni people have no choice but to continue to stand up and face the attack and defend their homeland and dignity, pointing out that those who believe that it is capable of resolving the military confrontation, especially the Western coast or other fronts still not realize what is the glory and high skills of which enjoy the Yemeni fighter in the combat fields.
The meeting reviewed the report of the Minister of Civil Service and Insurance Talal Aklan on the results of following up the functional discipline of the last quarter of last year and the results of the inspection campaign organized by the Ministry of Civil Service and Insurance and its offices for the control of the career in the units of the central and public authorities.
The report included numerical indicators of the extent of public discipline during this period and the measures taken by the Ministry to confirm this process and to address the imbalances that still impede the performance of some units to serve the public.
The Council of Ministers highly appreciated all the efforts and tasks of the Ministry of Civil Service and its branches in the provinces and its important supervisory role in this extraordinary period.
The Council of Ministers approved a draft resolution to supply one percent of the budgets of the independent and attached units, special funds and economic units in favor of the Civil Defense Department, based on the memorandum of offer submitted by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and Deputy Prime Minister for Security and Defense Affairs.
The decision obliged the parties concerned to implement the provisions of the signed agreement and take the necessary action for implementation.
The Council of Ministers condemned the criminal practices of the UAE occupier in Aden and the rest of the occupied provinces and gross violations of human rights in his secret prisons .. it called for revealing the fate of the detainees in those prisons.
The Council carried the coalition-backed authorities of the exiled Hadi responsibility for these barbaric practices against the people of the provinces and occupied territories and the looting of the oil and gas resources there.
It condemned the statements made by the Vice-PM of the exiled Hadi so-called Al-Misri and his claim that there are no secret prisons to cover the crimes and violations of his masters occupiers. He pointed out that the international human rights organizations have issued numerous reports of grave violations by the occupier of the UAE, which is no less terrible than the violations committed by the American occupier in the notorious Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq during his invasion and occupation of this fraternal country.
The Council of Ministers thanked the Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Hezbollah, for his honorable positions towards the issue of the Yemeni people, who hailed the courage and aspirations of the Yemenis by saying "The biggest school to be taught in military academies in the world is the Yemeni experience, which stunned the world and wounded the enemies' ego."
