Capital Sana'a mayor Hamoud Obad inspected today, Thursday, the progress of work on service projects in the Ma’ein and Al-Thawra districts, with local funding.

Obad was briefed on the completion of the lighting works on the eastern and western sides of the Altar Bridge tunnel, which are being implemented by the Public Works Office in the Municipality, and the ongoing works of the project to restore and improve the tunnel roundabout, and the level of completion according to technical specifications.

He inspected the level of completion of the sanitation project for the lower lanes of Asr in Ma'en district, with a length of four thousand square meters, the implementation of the Social Fund for Development under the supervision of the Works and Projects Sector in the Municipality.

Obad was also briefed on the restoration and asphalting works of the tunnel of the Arab League Street in Al-Thawra Directorate, with an area of one thousand square meters, carried out by the Executive Unit for the establishment, maintenance and development of roads and public places in the Municipality.

He stressed the importance of redoubling efforts and raising the work pace to complete these projects and adhere to engineering specifications and the specified period.
