A 12-year-old child, Majed Muhammad Abu Athba, drowned to death in Khabwa Dam in Khawlan district in Sana'a province on Wednesday, a local official said.
The official added a woman was killed by a lightning strike in al-Hima al-Dakhiliyah district while she was at her house in al-Arif village in the same province.
