A large-scale campaign to remove irregularities and indiscriminate construction in a number of streets and neighborhoods has been launched by the Ministry of Works in the capital Sanaa.
Public Works Office and the local council of the Mo'in district, with the participation of cleaning-up and traffic workers and the security authorities removed the building violations on the public street and the sidewalks in 24th Street and Al-Arbaeen neighborhood in Shamlan, as well as removing the scraps and scrap cars as well as lifting the piles of cleaning and construction waste.
In the inauguration, Assistant Undersecretary of the Sanaa Municipality for Projects and Works Sector Abdul Kareem Al-Houthi stressed that the campaign comes in accordance with the instructions of the leadership of the Municipality of the capital in the need to remove all irregularities from the streets and in order to alleviate the suffering of the population.
He pointed out that the campaigns to remove irregularities and slums will continue to be launched in the other districts to ensure the removal of distortions in order to put an end to the traffic congestion and obstruction of the work of cleanliness-up and to ensure the preservation of the aesthetic and civilized appearance of the capital.
He praised the efforts of the teams of the Works Office and its branches in the departments, cleaning-up offices, traffic and security apparatuses in this regard, praising the achievements of the campaigns during the last period of success in the different districts in removing slums, scrap cars,
He stressed the need to continue the removal of irregularities, slums and random vendors from the main streets and neighborhoods of the targeted districts continuously, as well as the lifting of parked cars, scrap and construction waste stacked in the streets.
