The General Telecommunications Corporation announced to subscribers of internet services in Yemen that some of the international capacities of Internet were out as a result of a cut in the international cable in one of the international tracks outside the country.

An official source in the corporation explained to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the cutting of the international cable partially affected the local internet traffic.

He pointed out that the Corporation is in contact and follow-up with the company that owns the submarine cable, and the Internet traffic will be restored to normal in the coming hours.
