Concluding training course in Sana’a in field of coffee roasting

A training course in the field of coffee roasting was concluded today at the National Auction headquarters in Sana'a, as part of a training, introductory and cultural program for specialty coffee. The course, which was organized over two days by the Coffee Unit of the Supreme Agricultural and Fisheries Committee, aimed to train 10 young male and female trainees interested in the field of coffee roasting, and to provide them with information, methods and procedures related to the processing of coffee fruits, including drying, peeling, sorting, grading according to sizes, purification, Right down to the roasting process. The roasting process is one of the most important stages of preparing and preparing the coffee fruits, as it maintains the flavor and quality, in certain degrees according to the desires of the consumer, between dark, light or black coffee. In conclusion, the official of the coffee unit in the Supreme Agricultural and Fisheries Committee, Muhammad Al-Qasimi, pointed out the importance of the course, which serves the coffee sector and contributes to strengthening programs and activities to develop and improve the productivity and quality of Yemeni coffee.
