The concerned authorities executed a sentecne to death on Monday issued against the convicted Ali al-Maimouni in the capital Sanaa for the murder of the victim Jamil Abdullah Waaz.
The execution took place in the square of the Central Prison in Sanaa in the presence of the victims' parents, a number of media professionals and human rights activists after the approval of the appeal judgment issued by the Court of Appeal of the capital Sanaa.
After the execution of the sentence, the brother of the victim thanked the political leadership and the judiciary for the execution of the sentence against the murderer, pointing out that the implementation of the ruling in light of the current situation is a victory for justice and deter the violators for the law and the bandits to achieve the community security and stability.
On January 20, 2012, al-Maimouni and his gang members attacked the victim while he was in Taiz Street in Sana'a, strangled him to death and then threw his body.
