Death toll from Israeli raids on Gaza at 3,300

The death toll in Gaza due to Israeli airstrikes has risen to 3,300, with 12,500 injured for the 12th consecutive day, Palestinian Health Minister Mai Al-Kaila said on Wednesday. During a press conference held in Ramallah, she said the healthcare infrastructure in Gaza is facing a severe shortage of medicines, along with major issues regarding access to hospitals, water supply, and sewage system deterioration, which increase the likelihood of the spread of communicable diseases in the besieged Strip. The minister highlighted the issues of water shortages, lack of hygiene tools and personal care supplies, inadequate sanitation systems, and overcrowding in shelter centers due to Israeli aggression, which could lead to a significant health disaster. She added that Israel has been repeatedly violating international humanitarian laws by targeting medical personnel.
