The President of the Supreme Political Council issued Decision No. (55) of 1444 AH to reorganize the Grievances Committee.

The decision included fifty-four articles divided into nine chapters, as follows:

Chapter One: Nomenclature and Definitions (Two Articles)

Chapter Two: Formation of the Commission (five articles)

Chapter Three: Objectives, Duties and Powers of the Authority (Four Articles)

Chapter Four: Duties and Powers of the Chairman of the Commission (one article)

Chapter Five: Duties and Rights of the Chairman and Members of the Authority (Three Articles)

Chapter Six: Conditions for accepting complaints and grievances and procedures for considering them (fourteen articles)

Chapter Seven: The General Secretariat (three articles)

Chapter Eight: Branches of the Authority (Nine Articles)

Chapter nine: Final Provisions (thirteen articles)
