Deputy PM inaugurates installation of solar energy systems for Jawf hospitals

Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of Finance Rashid Abu Luhum and Jawf governor Faisal Haidar on Wednesday inaugurated the installation Solar energy systems for hospitals in Jaw province.

The energy projects include the installation of a 200-kilowatt solar energy system for al Hazm hospital authority at a cost of Y.R 86 million, a solar energy system for Bart al Marashi hospital with a capacity of 40 kilowatts at a cost of Y.R 20 million, and a power system for Bart El-Anan hospital with a capacity of 50 kilowatts at a cost of Y.R 24 million, funded by the central emergency development interventions unit at the ministry of finance in implementation of the directives of the President of the Supreme Political Council.

The deputy prime minister visited the health institute in the province and reviewed with staff the educational activities in it.

He stressed the keenness to improve the health aspect in the province and pay attention to the institute, which contributes to graduating health cadres from Jawf people to serve the community in the province.

Abu Luhum pointed out that the institute will receive special attention because of its importance in providing the health staff to the province, which has suffered during the past periods in this aspect, which directly affects the lives of citizens.
