The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of Finance, Dr. Rashid Abboud Abu Lahoum, on Tuesday inspected a number of agricultural initiatives and projects in Jawf province.

Dr. Abu Lahoum, accompanied by a number of government official and province governor, visited Al-Sha’b Social Foundation and was briefed on its initiatives related to the development of the agricultural sector in Jawf.

He pointed to the importance of continuing to advance the agricultural sector in translation of the directives of the revolution leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, who always affirms that the agricultural sector is among the priorities at the official and popular levels.

The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs confirmed the government keenness to support all agricultural projects and initiatives, with a focus on grain crops.
