The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of Finance, Dr. Rashid Abboud Abu Lahoum, met on Monday with the Head of the Rehabilitation and Reform Authority, Major General Abdel Hamid Al-Moayad.

During the meeting, aspects related to improving the conditions of reformatories were discussed, especially in the aspects of food, hygiene and shelter, in implementation of the directives of His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council.

In the meeting, which was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, Kamal Khaled, the Deputy Prime Minister directed the provision of a dump truck for the reformatory in Al-Hodeida province, as well as cleaning needs, such as waste collection drums and other supplies.

Dr. Abu Lahoum expressed his thanks to the leadership of the Rehabilitation and Reform Authority, which represents a model of good management at the financial and administrative levels.

He pointed out that Finance Ministry will spare no effort in implementing the directives of the President of the Supreme Political Council in taking care of reforms in general.
