Sana'a: Member of the Supreme Political Council Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh Bin Habtoor sent a cable of condolences and sympathy on the passing of prominent writer and journalist Khalil Hassan al-Omari, who passed away at the age of 57 after a career devoted to serving the national media.

According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Bin Habtoor praised the late al-Omari's professional integrity and his role in covering Yemeni events responsibly through Yemen TV and al-Manar Channel. He affirmed that the media field has lost one of its distinguished voices and extended his heartfelt condolences to al-Omari's family and colleagues while praying that Allah grant him mercy and eternal peace.
