HODEIDAH, Eritrean authorities released on Tuesday 78 Yemeni fishermen, according to officials of local authority of the province.
The officials said that the fisherman arrived at Hodeidah port after being arrested two months ago.
They pointed out that the detention of fishermen by the UAE ship in Eritrean Awatib Island came within the series of the ongoing aggression and piracy acts carried out by the of Saudi-led aggression countries in the Red Sea.
Meanwhile, the fishermen called on the United Nations and international human rights to press the aggression forces to stop targeting fishermen and looting their boats, which is the only source of livelihood for their families.
