Gaza city: The ongoing conflict has seen the Zionist forces extend their operations from the Gaza Strip to southern Lebanon, resulting in widespread destruction and loss of civilian lives. The military actions, described as genocide and ethnic cleansing, have been ongoing for more than a year in Gaza and have now escalated in Lebanon. This has been met with a lack of effective response from Arab nations and the international community, which has been perceived as allowing the Zionist agenda of expansion and displacement to continue unchecked.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Zionist military has perpetrated numerous massacres in the northern Gaza Strip, where Palestinians have resisted evacuation orders. The military operation, now in its 26th day, has primarily targeted the Jabalia camp and surrounding areas, resulting in thousands of casualties. The government media office in Gaza reported a recent attack in Beit Lahia, where more than 200 civilians were killed, including 93 confirmed martyrs, with many
still missing under the rubble.
The office further indicated that the attack knowingly targeted a building housing displaced women and children. This assault is part of a broader plan to incapacitate the regional health system by destroying hospitals and blocking medical supplies, thus exacerbating the humanitarian crisis. Since October 7, the reported toll includes 43,061 martyrs and 10,1223 injuries, with the Zionist forces continuing their operations in defiance of international mandates.
In Lebanon, the conflict has drawn in Hezbollah, whose actions have placed numerous Zionist settlements under threat, highlighting the ongoing instability in the region. The Zionist military has intensified its attacks on Lebanese civilian areas under the pretext of targeting Hezbollah weaponry. This has led to significant civilian casualties and destruction of infrastructure, particularly in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa region.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported multiple air raids and artillery shelling on t
owns and villages, resulting in extensive damage to homes, public facilities, and healthcare centers. The attacks have not distinguished between military and civilian targets, exacerbating the humanitarian situation as hospitals and schools are hit.
Politically, the situation is complicated by the stance of the United States, whose support for the Zionist entity is seen as fueling the conflict rather than promoting peace. This has raised questions about American diplomacy’s role in the Middle East, with actions contradicting public statements of seeking regional stability.
