SANAA, The Forcibly Displaced Foundation for Development and Rights has organized the first conference on forcibly displaced and returnees from outside Yemen.
The conference discussed on Saturday the suffering and grievance of the forcible returnees from the countries, especially the returnees from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the reasons for their displacement, and the setting up legal and human rights visions so as to enable owners of capital to benefit from their funds.
In the conference, the member of the Supreme Political Council Sultan al-Sama’i stressed the importance of the conference in highlighting the issues of returnees and forcibly displaced persons whether from abroad or from within in order to know problems, issues, and suffering, and working to solve them.
For his part, Deputy Prime Minister for National Vision Affairs Mahmoud al-Junaid said the systematic displacement of Yemenis, especially those returning from Saudi Arabia, one of the crimes of aggression that it commits on a daily basis against the Yemeni people.
Many of the displaced people have high qualifications and capabilities in the industrial, technical, productive and investment fields through which they can contribute to the process of construction and development in various areas, al-Junaid added.
