The Ministry of Fisheries condemned the continuation of crimes and violations committed by the Eritrean authorities against Yemeni fishermen in Yemeni territorial waters.

In a statement received by Saba, the ministry denounced the abduction by Eritrean authorities of 139 Yemeni fishermen from the city of Al-Makhaa in Taiz province and Al-Khokha in Hodeidah province, including 23 minors.

The ministry called on Eritrean authorities to quickly release them, and all the fishermen kidnapped in their prisons.
