The Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed Australia’s decision to revoke its recognition of West Al-Quds as the capital of the Zionist entity.

In a statement received by SABA, the Ministry confirmed that the move was consistent with Palestine’s inalienable right.

Called on those States that had recognized West Jerusalem as the Zionist entity’s capital to follow Australia’s example.

The statement reaffirmed the position of the Government and people of the Republic of Yemen on the part of the brotherly Palestinian people in their rightful and legitimate struggle until Palestine’s liberation and the end of occupation towards the establishment of an independent Palestinian State on the entire territory of Palestine with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
