Foundation stone for rural water projects laid in Hodeida

The foundation stone for three rural water projects, at a cost of Y.R 89.4 million was laid in al-Durayhimi district in Hodeida province.

Branch director of the Public Authority for Rural Water Ahmed al-Hadi explained that the projects that are implemented during a whole month, funded by the Hodeida province support fund and UNICEF.

The project came within the framework of the government’s direction to support and provide water services to citizens and alleviate their suffering in light of the conditions the country is going through as a result of the aggression and blockade.

Al-Hadi stressed that these projects will cover the needs of the residents of al-Durayhimi of pure drinking water, pointing out that operating water wells with solar energy contributes to reducing diesel consumption, especially with the ongoing siege by the aggression countries.
