The health office in Hodeida province inaugurated on Monday a free medical surgical camp for the eyes in al-Mansoreyah district.

The camp, which is implemented by the Direct Aid Society, in coordination with the General Administration of Camps at the Ministry of Public Health and Population and the branch of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Hodeida, aims to conduct cataract operations and install lenses for more than 520 cases.

The camp will be lasted for 6 days and first three days will be devoted to medical examination while operations and lenses will be carried out in the last three days of the camp.
