Sana'a: The body of the nation's deceased, Sheikh Ahmed bin Ali Mohsen Al-Saqqaf, one of the sheikhs of Bani Jabr and Marib Governorate, who passed away after a life filled with dedication in service to the nation, was bid farewell in a solemn funeral procession in Sana'a.
According to Yemen News Agency, the funeral was led by the Governor of Marib, Ali Taiman, and attended by a number of social figures. The mourners praised the virtues, dedication, and roles of the deceased in serving the nation and society. They highlighted his noble morals, sound opinions, and dignified stances in resolving tribal disputes and blood feud issues, along with his contributions to reconciliation among community members.
The funeral proceedings took place after prayers were held for him at the Al-Sha'ab Mosque in the capital, Sana'a. Sheikh Ahmed Ali Mohsen Al-Saqqaf was then laid to rest in his birthplace in Wadi Habab, Sirwah District, Marib Governorate.
