The Geological Survey and Mineral Resources Authority condemned the blatant attacks and violations committed by the aggression countries in the occupied Yemeni islands and provinces by plundering mineral resources.

In a statement, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the authority affirmed its rejection of all forms of looting and violations committed by the aggression countries, based on its unswerving duty to defend the homeland and its mineral wealth in the occupied islands and lands.

The statement also affirmed the right of Yemen Republic and its firm position to fully defend its lands.

It pointed out that the repeated and continuous violations committed by the UAE regime are outside international laws and norms. International organizations must stand with one voice to denounce these violations and call for an end to the illegal exploitation of mineral resources in the occupied Yemeni islands and provinces.
