FNA 17.01.2013 Government bulldozers removed a number of tents at the southern part of Sana’a University, said resident Wadhah Hamran.
The bulldozers were accompanied by soldiers, who started removing the camps on Tuesday in response to complaints by neighbors.
On behalf of the residents of the area, Hamran called on authoritites to speed up the removal of the rest of the tents. He says the tents are mostly empty and disturb the peace and quiet of the neighborhood.
Youth and party groups involved in Change Square were moved to the northern part of the square. The houthis are resisting the removal of their tents.
