ADEN, Yemen, The Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen, Mohamed Zemmam, underscored the technical readiness of the bank, to settle the funding gap, only after all legal revenues, from all provinces have been received.

The UNDP (United Nations Development Programme), Resident Representative in Aden, Liz Grand, discussed with the Humanitarian Coordinator, the overall financial difficulties facing the Central Bank, including the non-supply of revenues from the governorates, not subject to the legitimate government.

The meeting discussed the measures taken by the Central Bank, in order to activate the legal activities of the bank, in managing and modernising the monetary policy of the country, stressing that, all public revenues within the Yemeni government authorities, are submitted to the Central Bank, including all sales of crude oil and other revenues.
