SANAA, The UN Resident Coordinator in Yemen has said that the initial reports indicate that seven children and two women killed in an airstrike on Sunday in Washha district of Hajjah province, north-western Yemen.
The UN Humanitarian Coordinator Lise Grande said in a statement, Saba got a copy of it, that the airstrike also caused the injury of two children and two women who were taken into Abs hospital for treatment.
“It is incomprehensible that in the midst of the Corona pandemic, while the ceasefire options are on the negotiating table, the killing of civilians in Yemen continues,” said Lise Grande.
She expressed her sincere condolences to the families of the children and women who were killed in the airstrike, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
