The Public Health and Population Office in Hajjah province on Monday seized smuggled and damaged medicines in Khairan Maharaq district.

Director of the health office in the province Ahmed al-Kuhlani said the field teams in Khairan Maharraq seized two cartons of smuggled and damaged medicines, including some medicines of an unknown country of origin, stressing that the necessary measures were taken and the seized medicines were confiscated.

Al-Kuhlani pointed out that the campaign to monitor medical and pharmaceutical facilities will continue until the desired goals are achieved, praising the efforts of the field teams in implementing the campaign.

Director of the private medical facilities department in Hajjah health office Abdulhakim Amer said that the medicines were seized next to a drug store in the district and were hidden among the livestock feed.
