The spokesman for the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” Abdel Latif al-Qanou confirmed his movement’s condemnation of the visit of the Moroccan Armed Forces Commander, Belkheir al-Farouq, to the Zionist entity.
He considered the reception by the Chief of Staff of the enemy army, Aviv Kohavi, yesterday, to the commander of the Moroccan armed forces, at the Kariya headquarters in Tel Aviv, as a stab in the back of the Palestinian people and their sacrifices.
In an exclusive interview with the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Al-Qanou’ said that the visit comes at a time when the pace of incursions and settlers’ crimes is escalating in the squares of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, adding that all forms of normalization with the Zionist enemy harm the interests of our Palestinian people and our just Palestinian cause.
He added: “Without any doubt, normalization with the Zionist occupation and its attempt to integrate it into the Arab region harm the interests of the entire Arab and Islamic nation, encourage the occupation to plunder the region’s wealth and threaten the true national security of the Arab region.”
Regarding what is required about that, the Hamas spokesman stressed the necessity of severing all forms of relationship with the occupation and stopping all forms of normalization.
Al-Qanou’ explained that what is required of the Arab and Islamic nation is to support Palestinian people in the battle to defend Al-Aqsa Mosque, protect Al-Quds and strengthen its steadfastness on its land, instead of opening relations with the Zionist occupation and concluding joint agreements and security cooperation with it.
Al-Farouq’s presence at the headquarters of the Zionist enemy’s army came as part of his unprecedented visit as the first high-ranking Moroccan military official to the occupied Palestinian territories since the normalization agreements.
The Zionist enemy army broadcast the official reception ceremony for Belkheir Al-Farouq, on his social media platforms, which included a display of the guard of honor, in preparation for participating in a military conference organized by the Zionist army on military renewal and modernization.
